Polk Township Vol. Fire Dept.
Grants Received
Indiana Homeland Security Foundation Grant
Polk Township Volunteer Fire Department was awarded the
Indiana Homeland Security Foundation Grant. The grant award was for $2,400. We
purchased helmet lights with the money and the grant reimbursed our purchase.
We were also awarded a grant to purchase accessories for our
new ISIS Thermal Imaging Camera. We will be able to transmit images from the
camera directly to a laptop PC so we can see exactly what the firefighter sees
when inside the house.
Chief Joe Clady and Firefighter Angie Jablonski were
instrumental in securing these grants.
